HI & WELCOME!
My name is Samantha Spasoff, Sam for short! I am a self taught graphic designer with a passion for creativity, visual storytelling, and pushing ideas beyond the expected.
I am currently based in Chicago, fulfilling one of my dream roles as the Creative Content Assistant for the Northwestern University Football Team. Here, I am continuing to grow my skills by creating engaging content for a well respected college football team with high-profile athletes and developing dynamic, brand-elevating visuals tin efforts amplify the teams overall public image. In addition to graphic design, in this role I assist in the production and management of in-game, on-field, and live player content for social media.
In May of 2025, I graduated from Penn State University. Immediately following graduation I had the opportunity to be a Graphic Design Intern at Riddell in Chicago, Illinois. Riddell is leading manufacturer of football helmets and protective sports equipment, trusted by over 75% of NFL and NCAA players. During my senior year at Penn State, I served as a student graphic designer for the Penn State Men’s Lacrosse Team, where I honed my ability to produce dynamic and engaging visual content under tight deadlines. My work with SaveTheDateLLC further sharpened my creative approach, as I developed custom designs, tailored to a wide range of client needs. Additionally, my experience at the District Photo Shutterfly Hub provided valuable insight into the production side of the creative process, deepening my understanding of design from concept to completion.
Entrepreneurial experience has also played a significant role in my growth as a designer. Launching and successfully running my own small business has allowed me to showcase my artistry while honing my ability to manage projects, communicate effectively with clients, and bring creative visions to life from concept to completion. These experiences have strengthened my adaptability, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
I look forward to continuing to pursue my career in graphic design, continuously refining my craft, and bringing innovative ideas to the industry.
